Birds 2020

Mona and I decided to do some birding in Taiwan.  We did a lot of birding in Nepal and USA but for some reason up until November 2020 never got started birding.  There was not an English book on birds of Taiwan until 2017 therefore we just couldn't get interested with the limited resources available.  Recently we met a Taiwanese birder, Vince Chiu, that helped us order "Birds of Taiwan".  And now we are hooked.  New camera and new book that covers over 670 species found in Taiwan including 27 Endemic species and 56 endemic subspecies. ~dudley

Nepal March 2015

(Assemblies of God Nepal Churches, Bible School and AGN General Coucil)

Only a few pictures of our, Mona & Dudley's, trip to Nepal in March 2015 to be guests of the AGN at their General Council.  The first pictures are in Kathmandu and the latter in Nepalgunj where the conference was held.  More pictures will be added!

2015 New Years Flowers

This gallery replaces the 2014 flower gallery.  Seems every year they try to add a few more flower arrangements.  The park is large, 3 city blocks square.  It is a beautiful place for us to walk and only 3-4 minutes from our apartment.  Enjoy the flowers that were done for Chinese New Year 104, the year of the Ram.

Hodgepodge

A hodgepodge of photos that may change from time to time.  No logic as to which photos are included.

Biking East Coast,  Nov 2014

Trip to East Coast with John and Miriam Ebinger...had a great time doing a little over 100km in 2 days.

Took bike rack equipped train roundtrip to Taitung from Kaohsiung.  Stayed in a lovely B&B with great host, Candy and Tony.  Most enjoyable!

Rode around Taitung city the first day and then up the East Coast to Donghe and back the second day.

Sun Moon Lake, May 2014

Mona and I attended Megan's graduation in Taichung May 30, 2014 and decided to visit Sun Moon Lake on our return to Kaohsiung.  We will definitely want to go again.  Beautiful and because of the elevation, nice and cool.  Nice place to visit in summer.
